What's stored
Your account details, posts, connections, messages, and any images or ZIP files you upload are stored in a local database on the server you (or whoever runs this app) is hosting — not in any third-party cloud.
Who can see what
Your email address is only visible to you and to the site admin, for account support. Everything else you make public — posts, profile, connections — is visible to other signed-in accounts. Private drafts stay private.
Payments
Subscriptions and project sales are handled manually between you and the admin — this app does not process card payments or store any payment details itself.
Cookies
A single session cookie keeps you signed in. It isn't used for tracking or advertising.
Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings. This permanently removes your posts, connections, and messages.

Getting started
Set up your profile
Add a display name, bio, avatar, cover photo, and country from Profile → Edit profile. Connect GitHub or YouTube to show them as buttons on your profile.
Create your first post
Tap "New project" and pick a type: a Project (images, links, tags), a Community update (just text and a photo), or a Poll.
Posting a project
Live demo or GitHub — pick one, or both
Neither is required on its own, but add at least one so people can actually check the project out. GitHub repos are verified automatically before you publish.
Schedule it for later
Use the Schedule button to pick a date, time, and timezone — it publishes itself automatically, even while you're offline. Track it all from Scheduled Posts.
Sell your project
Once you have 6+ people connected with you, a "Sell" option unlocks — attach a ZIP, set a price, and keep the majority of every sale.
Quick Upload — from just a GitHub link
Pick "Quick Upload" instead of the normal form and paste a public repo URL — KudosC reads the README and repo info to fill in the title, description, tags, and license for you. Review and edit anything before publishing.
Look for the "i" info buttons
Any form field with an i next to it has a short explainer behind it — tap it any time you're unsure what something does.
Stories
Post a story
Tap "Your story" at the top of Home to share a photo that's visible for 24 hours. A tap opens it; press and hold to see the plain photo.
Heart a story
Tap the heart at the bottom of someone's story, or double-tap the photo itself, to let them know you loved it — they'll get a notification.
See who's viewed your story
On your own story, tap the eye icon at the bottom to see everyone who's watched it, most recent first. Rings gray out once you've seen every story in them, so you always know what's new.
Messaging
Direct messages
Message any connection one-on-one from the Direct tab in Chats. Conversations open full-screen and load older messages as you scroll up.
Group chats — with stickers
Start a group from the Group tab. Besides text, you can send one of 16 built-in stickers — it shows up as a big bubble instead of plain text. The creator can promote other members to admin from Group Settings.
Channels
Start a Channel to broadcast to everyone who joins — only you (the admin) can post there. Anyone can join to read updates and react with an emoji. The Channel tab splits your list into "Your channels" (the ones you created) and "Joined channels," with more to discover below.
Voice messages
Tap and hold the mic button in any DM, group, or channel to record, release to send. Press and hold a voice message (or any message) afterward to delete it for yourself or, if it's yours, for everyone.
Pin or leave a chat
Press and hold any conversation, group, or channel in your list for Pin (keeps it at the top — one at a time, across all three) or Remove/Leave. Both ask you to confirm first.
Discovering
Explore & Featured
Explore shows shipped projects by category, filterable by country. Featured highlights standout work the team's picked out.
Search
Finds posts and developers by name, tag, or country — try typing a country name directly to see people from there.
Your feed
Swipe a post for quick actions
Swipe any project card left to Save it to a collection, Remove it from your feed, or Share it — swipe back right, or tap Back, to close.
Kudos & Collections
Tap the kudos button to show appreciation — it's this app's version of a like, and helps great work surface in Featured. Bookmark a post to save it into a Collection for later.
Polls & community posts
Polls
Ask a question with up to a few options — results update live as votes come in, with your own vote always highlighted.
Community posts
Quick text-and-photo updates that don't need a repo or links — they show up free-form in the feed, without a card around them.
Staying in the loop
Notifications
Kudos, connections, comments, and replies all land here — the bell in the top bar shows a badge whenever something's new.
Announcements
Site-wide news from the KudosC team — check Privacy & Policy for how your data is handled, or reach out to the admin with questions.
Track your growth
Creator Dashboard
From your own profile, tap "Creator Dashboard" for an overview of every project's views, Kudos, and downloads, plus charts over time and a list of your top-performing work.
Privacy & control
Private account
Turn this on in Settings and only your connections can see your posts — everyone else sees your profile without them.
Turn direct messages off
The "Allow direct messages" switch in Settings stops anyone from DMing you at all while it's off — group chats and channels aren't affected. Flip it back on any time.
Two-factor authentication
Add an extra login step from Settings — once it's on, signing in needs a code from your authenticator app as well as your password.
